Year 6

Six years and going strong! To my best friend and love, no matter what I may tease you about, I most certainly couldn't live without you. I love you forever, like you for always, and look forward to each exciting leap of the way, with you by my side. Happy Anniversary! xoxo

Utah Round 2

Plane ride into SLC...McKay and I had the entire row to ourselves! Love that.

Went to BYU campus...stopped by the bookstore, bought a good book & some chocolate covered gummy bears, & most importantly, for Dad anyhow, snapped a photo.

Watched movies, Britt & I created our own theater seating with Grandma's wing-backs.

My dear Grandma, Glamour Lovely.

The so fun "ya ya".

More pics at my cousin's wedding. Shar & baby, Mom, Kapria, McKay & I, and Gigi.

With my cousin, Karleigh, my BFF growing up.

Reading books with cousin, Kapria.

My cute Little Monkey.

Right Now, In My World

Right now, in my world, life is pretty sweet.
Right now, in my world, life on the ground is the place to be. There are so many new things to touch, to feel, to grab and chew.
Right now, in my world, life has taught me some new tricks. I can hold my bottle, wave good-bye, give 'high-fives', say 'mama' & 'dada', eat finger foods, and go to sleep on my own, to name a few.
Right now, in my world, life sure is fun! I love to play and laugh with big kids, to dance with mommy, to play the piano, to splash in the bath-tub, to jump in the ocean, to mush up sand between my fingers, and to read bedtime stories too.
Right now, in my world, I am a wiggle-monkey! Always on the move, never want to stop. Never want my diaper changed or to be stuck in that car-seat. Just wanna go go go!
Right now, in mommy's world, I am perfect. I am sweet. Wants to cuddle always. Wants to freeze time forever. Wants to keep seeing the world, through my world, as long as time will give her.

Peeking Out

I love it. When McKay started waking up from his naps, I started sneaking into his bedroom to peek under the bumpers in his crib. He loves its. He laughs and sticks his little fingers out to touch my face, I love it. Now when he hears my footsteps approaching the door, I open it to find him with the bumpers pushed down, peeking out at me with a big grin in tact. I love it. I love it. I love it.

Frogger

We're going mobile! ...and I don't mean just rolling around the room anymore! McKay graduated from rolling to-sort of, kind of-crawling a couple of weeks ago. Tuesday, May 19th to be exact, just after he turned 10 months old (which is when this video was taken). It started out more like a breast-stroke atop of the carpet, but has further progressed into a "downward dog" type of motion. Who knows, maybe we'll have another swimmer in the family. Yoga instructor. Not so sure about. He sure can't get enough of being on the floor these days, and is definitely beyond himself that he's figured his way about. It's been a lot of fun watching this guy grow and move around. Never wants to stop. Rolling, is for amateurs.
