The past couple of weeks, I have been slightly obsessed. I've been dying to read these books for the longest time and finally caved in and bought them. I could hardly put them down! I know many of you have already read these, but seriously, if you haven't you MUST! So good! I can hardly wait until the third book releases. August 24th! P.S. I'm thinking maybe even better than  the Twilight series with these ones.

Taylor Swift

This dress was my favorite. 

And I absolutely loved her glimmering guitar.

Last Saturday, Jeff left for Brazil on business. He found out he was going a whole two days before leaving. It's business and it's great that he has these opportunities. But, of course, I also couldn't help feeling a little saddened that McKay and I would be left alone for another week, and on such short notice.  So that Friday, before he left, he treated me to a special surprise! After believing that we were headed to a movie, then to a symphony/body art exhibit, and then...once we reached the Staples Center in LA...convinced we were going to a Hockey game, the minute we walked through the doors I knew this was no hockey game! Taylor Swift! Singing! Live! :) It was such a great concert, actually probably one of the best that I've been to. It was really more like a play or musical wrapped into a concert, with all of her different back drops, props, costume changes, and fellow performers. Adorable. Talented. Entertaining. Would go again in a heartbeat! Love her. And especially love Jeff for treating me to such a great surprise!

Boys & Cars

Daddy and Grandpa took McKay for his first boys day out at the Del Mar car show. Nothing changes much. Little boys love cars. They gravitate to them from the beginning. Knowing exactly how to play with them and what kind of sounds to make. And when they grow up, they just love bigger, more expensive versions. 

Cousins

Easter

Playing games.

Easter has always been my favorite time of the year. Taking time to reflect upon Christ, the picture perfect weather, bright spring colors and blooming flowers. Everything about it is simply beautiful.  I loved listening to conference and the amazing words that were spoken to us, which seemed to resinate with me more than ever before. I loved watching McKay's face light up every time he found another egg; and then again when he discovered an M&M inside. I love the Cremers traditional Easter tacos (yep, tacos!) and the seasonal fresh Strawberries. 

Apparently McKay loved it also. When he woke up the next morning all he wanted to do was go hunt eggs in the backyard. Unfortunately, it had rained during the night and was still wet and cold outside. So, I wouldn't let him out. He cried about it for nearly 30 minutes while I tried to show him, distract him, and/or explain to him that there weren't any eggs outside.  Guess I have a new game to play for him...that is, as long as it's dry outside!

The Girlies

These lovely ladies took me on a much needed, girls night out for my birthday. The best. Love them all.

Strawberry Pickin

Last weekend we picked strawberries at the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields. The strawberries were GINOURMOUS and we had so much fun picking and eating them. Strawberries. Every day. Yum.
