I can't believe 1/2 of a year has flown past and my little boy is already 6 months old! It is crazy! I absolutely love this stage right now, McKay is learning so much and doing so many fun and exciting things. He loves his hands and feet, playing with his toys, "peek-aboo" games, rolling over, eating new foods (unless they are green), and...my most favorite...deep-hearted giggles. He definately has me wrapped around his little fingers!

It's not a party until the cops show up...right?...
(this next one is my favorite photo of the night...)
For New Years Eve, a couple of the girls and I put together a last minute party at our community clubhouse. We had good food, Wii, Rock Band, games, a bouncy house for the kids-which Jeff and I inherited (thanks Jodie-it's THE greatest!), Martinelli's, and most importantly-lots of good company. All was splendid until the clubhouse alarm informed us of it's closing hour at 10:30pm, an hour and a half before the main event was to take place. After the local police crew showed up, some officer bribery, and an attempt to muffle the alarm with a baby blanket, we moved the party to the next destination and continued in our celebrations. Cheers to 2009!

Christmas In AZ
Christmas!
Presents!
Daddy & McKay
Mommy & McKay
Christmas morning.
Traditional "Christmas Poppers": Uncle Britt & McKay playing with their prize.
McKay played "Baby Jesus" in our Nativity Play.
The Nativity: "Mary" and "Baby Jesus".
This year we spent Christmas with my family in AZ. Games, cinnamon bears, "around the world" ping-pong, shopping, movies, the nativity play, my Mom's candied yams (yum!) and just hanging out-we had some good times. If only it could have lasted longer! Miss you and love you guys! and thank you EVERYONE for making it a GREAT Christmas!
Sparkly Blues
