Hawaii 2010

In March, we got to travel to our most favorite place, Hawaii! And to maximize our fun, we went with 3 other couples and six little munchkins. It was such an amazing trip! We took over 700 photos, and had about 1500 more shared from the others, so be forewarned...

Up bright and early and on our way!

We're here!

Here's the house, right on Pipeline.

Our backyard view.

Pathway down to the beach.

Walking down from the house.

Future surf buddies.

These pools formed right on the beach and would change each day. It was perfect to play in, the kids loved it.

Rocky Point.

McKay loved rubbing the sand on his belly.

McKay playing with Jack Johnson's little boy. He and his wife ended up camping out next to us on the beach, so we got to hang out a bit. Yep, we're friends now. ;)

We found this kiddie pool to set up in the backyard. McKay was obsessed. He was in that thing rain or shine, clothed, naked, or even sneaking out in his Pj's before I could change him! Every morning it was straight to the pool.

The sunsets were breathtaking.

McKay had so much fun with all of his little buddies. Here he is giggling with Jade.

"Pounding it" (knuckles) with Micah.

Head-butting, too...boys!

Frosting cupcakes, for the birthday girl, Auden.

Yum, Acai!

Two little monkeys, climbing up a tree!

The boys got lots and lots of surfing in.

At Kua Aina's, the best Avacado burger ever! So good. And the company, even better! I love these people.

The last couple of days, the waves got really big. Even Waimea was breaking.

Eating Matsumoto's shaved ice, yum...

At Haleiwa Joe's

On Sunday, we went to see the temple. It is such a beautiful temple.

All of the kiddos. We were in awe that they all sat still for this adorable, winning shot!

This is the whole gang of us!

We went to the macadamia nut farm for my favorite dried coconut treat.

We also stopped by a Buddhist Temple.

This is one of my favorite shots, of the kids banging the 'Gong'.

And, of course, we had to go to Duke's in Waikiki. We really lucked out having a babysitter for three of the nights there, thanks to Kait, Lindsay's sister.

We stopped in Lanikai, at this amazing beach. It was so beautiful!

We all had so much fun together, I wish that it could never end. Can't wait for next time!

Austrailia

In February, Jeff got to go to Sydney, Austrailia on business. I begged and begged to tag along, but this trip was strictly business....

Welcome to Austrailia...

Let me show you around mate...

They used to hang outlaws on this floating island, it's the first thing you see coming into Sydney. I suppose it was a good reminder they didn't want any trouble coming here...

The world-wide infamous Opera house...

...such incredible, intricate detail.

Streets of Sydney

Downtown Sydney

Once again, this was strictly a business trip. So, business first, the UFC fight to attend.

Dinner with Big Nog

But they also got to see the Opera. If you're in Sydney, you have to go. Even if it is 2 guys and 3 hours long!

Here's a sneak peek inside.

Jeff also got to squeeze in a nice surf session at Manley Beach. Very manly.

It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it... Here's Jeff working overtime at the ACDC concert.

And here he is with some new, very professional, buddies. Always networking, he is!

Ok, so I admit to being a bit (maybe even totally) green with envy, who wouldn't be? It's Austrailia for crying out loud! But, I am so grateful that Jeff has such an amazing job. I am so happy that he gets to do amazing things and work for such amazing people. And, that all of his hard work allows me to be at home with my baby, exactly where I've always hoped and dreamed to be. And besides, don't think I didn't make him promise to take me back one day! ;)
