24 Fans...

So, we are a little obsessed with the TV series, 24. Anyone else? If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend that you rent the DVD's...which, btw, are even better since you can watch 3 or 4 episodes in one setting..watch out, it is dangerously addictive...(I know, pathetic). But, it is A-MAZING! The prequel airs this Sunday, can't wait Jack Bauer!

A few weeks ago we traveled to the AZ to welcome home my little brother, Britt, from the mish. He served a great two years in the Orlando, Florida mission. It was so much fun to see him along with all of the fam...miss you guys already! We're glad to have you back Britt!

Pumpkin Carving Time

I cannot even remember when the last time was that I carved a pumpkin...I have been most deprived these last few years. The pumpkin carving tradition is definitely going to be in tact from hence forth. Thanks Derek & Brittany for putting together the fun party, we had a blast!

Are we really this old? Jeff just had his 10 year high school reunion. How was it you ask? Well, let's just say it was nice to have a date night without kids and the girls to keep me company while my hubby reverted back to his giddy, teenage self....which is one of the many qualities I love about him!

We took McKay on his first big tripper to the Vegas at 7 weeks old. He did so good, not one peep on the airplane! What a trooper we have.

Secret Confessions

Ok, so I have this secret to confess...I am a closet cutter, of hair that is. I stretch out my visits to the hair salon as long as possible until I absolutely cannot stand it anymore ... 1) because it is a royal, time consuming pain; and 2) for economic purposes...it isn't exactly cheap if you know what I mean. Inevitably, it gets to the point that I wind up reaching for the scissors in the drawer only to make matters worse and find myself with a sink full of hair and regrets. My next visit to the salon I shamefully admit to my bad habit before the, "Who cut your hair last?" question comes up...which I've gotten several times. Well, hey at least I've never reached for the razor...
